Presented three months after Galliano’s Givenchy appointment, L’École de Danse proved that the eponymous label remained an independent calendar and creative laboratory. Ballet training clothes, rehearsal layers, corsetry and fluid dresses translated discipline and movement into a personal runway language distinct from Givenchy couture.
