Galliano’s final personally presented women’s collection drew on the story of Maria Lani and interwar portraiture, moving through bias-cut dresses, painted surfaces, lean tailoring and cinematic character. The Opéra Comique setting gave the founder’s last public bow for his own house a controlled theatrical frame.
