Karl Lagerfeld for H&M placed roughly thirty men’s and women’s pieces into H&M stores on 12 November 2004. Lagerfeld designed the capsule and H&M handled production and global distribution, turning the designer’s eponymous identity into the retailer’s first designer collaboration.
