Spring/Summer 1985 opens the securely documented runway sequence of the continuing Karl Lagerfeld house. Presented in Paris during the first Bidermann-backed phase, it established the eponymous women’s ready-to-wear mainline as a recurring seasonal proposition alongside Lagerfeld’s simultaneous work for other houses.
