About this collection
Kartik Research and Baracuta developed a six-piece capsule around the G9 and G4 jackets. Handloom checks, quilting and embroidery revised the Manchester company’s outerwear, accompanied by a shirt, hoodie and pleated trousers.
The project extended the British Raj and modern India tension of Autumn/Winter 2024 into a collaboration with a British garment whose history already carried ideas of class, music and subculture.
