About this collection
Zindagi Chuno was the first collection Kumra developed after graduating from university in December 2022. Its title translates as Choose Life and draws on the Trainspotting monologue, using the language of choice and commitment to frame Karu Research’s transition from a student project into a full-time label.
Handworked jackets, shirts and relaxed separates continued the early focus on Indian textile production while the campaign gave the brand a more resolved post-university identity.
