About this collection
Germanier designed the official poster for the sixtieth Montreux Jazz Festival as a physical embroidered object. More than 60,000 recovered glass, wood and plastic beads were applied to black velvet with wool and discarded electrical tubing, converting the house’s dense garment surfaces into festival identity. The commission joined Swiss cultural memory to the studio’s material-reuse practice.
