About this collection

Khaite’s Fall 2019 collection brought Catherine Holstein’s wardrobe onto a runway for the first time. A floor-sweeping ball skirt opened the show before heavy cotton twill trousers, dimensional cashmere, belted tailoring, denim, leather and translucent evening pieces widened the label’s established language. Autumn branches and yellow leaves covered the floor at St. Ann’s Warehouse, giving the Brooklyn presentation a tactile setting for clothes built around weight, movement and controlled shifts in scale.

The show also introduced Khaite-branded bags and footwear before their commercial launch later that year. That category expansion made the runway a concrete change in the house’s scope, joining the denim and knitwear foundation to a fuller head-to-toe proposition and establishing the physical New York show as a recurring part of Khaite’s public identity.
