L’IDÉE

ICONIQUE brought L’IDÉE back to Australian Fashion Week on 14 May 2026 for an off-site runway at the Australian Chamber Orchestra on Hickson Road Pier. The 30-look presentation mixed established house signatures with new 2026 pieces, setting fine ribbed pleats, metallic shimmer and broader sculptural folds against a 1970s disco and Studio 54 atmosphere.

Pip Edwards joined the project as guest creative director for the show, shaping its conception, styling, music, layering and runway proportions. The garments remained under the continuing authorship of founders Breeana Smith and Iuliia Ievdokymenko, making the presentation a collaboration between a stable house design system and a bounded external interpretation of how that system could be staged.
