About this collection
Magnifique marked L’IDÉE’s first Australian Fashion Week runway on 13 May 2022 at Carriageworks. Presented for Resort 2023, the collection pushed the house’s pleating into a celebratory post-pandemic register: saturated colour, fluid halters, elongated gowns and broad umbrella folds turned engineered polyester into a sequence of high-movement occasion silhouettes.
The show established the label’s pleat system at institutional runway scale after several years of wholesale growth. Iuliia Ievdokymenko’s garment development and Indonesian production system supplied the technical foundation, while Breeana Smith directed the brand and commercial framing around a collection positioned as a return to expressive dressing.
