About this collection
Presented in Milan on 10 October 1998, Spring/Summer 1999 is the earliest fully dated and visually recoverable Marni runway-style collection found in the research. It records the house after its expansion beyond fur, when lightweight ready-to-wear, graphic pattern and altered proportion had become central to Consuelo Castiglioni’s vocabulary.
