NON-HUMAN was Fecal Matter’s first officially described fashion collection, presented at The Mandrake Hotel in London. The show translated the duo’s post-human self-image into a physical runway language of dark clothing, metal hardware, altered anatomy and severe styling.

The physical Skin Heel appeared within this collection after beginning as a digitally manipulated image. Fabricated with Sarah Sitkin, the flesh-toned footwear made the body itself appear to continue into the heel and became the clearest object linking Fecal Matter’s online mutations to wearable form.
