About this collection
Autumn/Winter 2016–17 treated destruction as surface and construction, using charred edges, torn textiles, smoke effects and Fashion Kills packaging across eveningwear and street-level forms. The so-called Bonfire of the Vanities runway brought Moschino’s criticism of fashion consumption into a deliberately damaged material register.
