Peter Do

Áo Dài was presented in a Rue de Richelieu gallery in Paris on 27 February 2024 and drew on Peter Do’s memory of his late grandmother and Vietnamese dress. Wrap structures, padded satin, knit tailoring, raw Japanese denim and modular pieces softened the severe geometry of the earlier runway seasons.

The intimate gallery format gave visitors close access to the clothes and their transformations, reflecting the namesake’s selective approach to runway scale during Do’s concurrent Helmut Lang appointment.
