About this collection
Spring/Summer 2008 joined clothes, textile imagery, show space and film in one of Prada’s most fully documented cross-media systems. Miuccia Prada conceived the image world; Michael Rock and Sung Kim of 2x4 developed the treatment and introduced James Jean, whose drawings moved across fabrics, murals and photographic sets.
AMO shaped the environment and James Lima directed the animated film Trembled Blossoms, premiered on 5 February 2008. These contributors authored images, graphics, space and film rather than the collection itself, preserving Miuccia Prada’s fashion authorship inside a distributed project.
