About this collection
Spring/Summer 2014 placed commissioned images of women across the show environment and garments in a project called In the Heart of the Multitude. Prada and 2x4 commissioned Miles “El Mac” Gregor, Mesa, Gabriel Specter, Stinkfish, Jeanne Detallante and Pierre Mornet; AMO turned the venue into an inverted perimeter street.
The imagery addressed representation, multiplicity and public power without making the artists co-designers of the collection. Miuccia Prada remained the institutional fashion author, while the six artists, 2x4 and AMO hold distinct image and spatial credits.
