Prada

Dialogues was the first Prada collection jointly designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons. Presented digitally on 24 September 2020, it established their equal public authorship through a wardrobe of reduced shapes, controlled gesture, uniform references and repeated graphic devices rather than by dividing categories between the two designers.

AMO designed the presentation environment and Plastikman created a soundtrack incorporating the names of the first-time runway cast. A post-show conversation made discussion part of the public format, while the designers’ internal division of labour remained undisclosed.
