About this collection
Residual Silk was created for Dover Street Market Singapore within the Forgotten Materials programme. Early Chinese raw-silk bags previously used for food storage were dismantled, naturally dyed grey and manually distressed, allowing their seams and former function to remain visible in the finished garments.
