Trucker is the first clearly established Paris runway point in Rick Owens’s womenswear chronology. It hardens the early jacket-and-drape system into a more public runway language, with leather, jersey, elongated jackets and a narrow layered body already acting as the brand’s structural spine. The collection is important less as spectacle than as consolidation: the Los Angeles cult vocabulary becomes legible in Paris without losing its roughness, asymmetry or close relation between outerwear and body.
