Mountain is one of the clearest early menswear statements in Owens’s architectural phase. Shearling, down and padded quilting were worked into cropped jackets, parkas, robe-like layers and high-waisted, baggy-crotch trousers, shifting the male body between sport, protection and ceremony. The collection matters because it treats padded outerwear, trouser volume and robe-like dress as one coherent body system rather than separate styling references. It also anchors the shift from longline severity toward a more athletic, insulated masculinity.
