Glitter AW 2017 menswear moves from doom toward flamboyance while keeping protection at the centre. Glossed leather, linen and down-filled synthetic padding create airbag-like torso forms, wide kick pants, patched coats and elongated knit arms. Despite the title, the collection is not simply decorative; it treats volume and shine as defensive devices. The body is swollen, cushioned and made theatrical, but the armour logic remains close to the surface, especially through padded forms and grounded shoes.
