Gethsemane continues the Venice Lido womenswear sequence with a darker, more processional reading of protection. The digital presentation frames masked bodies, puffers, knits, bodysuits and sequined evening shapes against a foggy shoreline mood. Owens brings comfortwear and heightened couture closer together: zippered coverage, hourglass lines and exposed limbs share the same uneasy register. The biblical title and post-election atmosphere give the collection a sense of waiting before judgement, but the result remains formal rather than illustrative, built through silhouette, surface and procession.
