Luxor gives the Egyptian title-world a colder and more contained winter form. Padded garlands, silk charmeuse, recycled cashmere and sequined felt appear in wrapped bustiers, sinuous trains and swollen platform shapes. The collection filters war-time gravity through discipline rather than literal commentary, using ornament as a controlled weight around the body. Compared with Edfu’s sunlit theatricality, Luxor feels more reduced and interior: ceremonial, queerly charged and sombre, but still built around movement, elongation and the altered Owens silhouette.
