Anthem SS 2011 is the clearest womenswear statement of Owens’s shift from abandon to control. Silk-cotton canvas and pearly leather are shaped into rigid frames, skyward collars, fishtail skirts and split-kilt tunics, making the body more disciplined and monumental. The collection does not erase earlier drape; it tightens it into a ceremonial structure. This is where loose cult layering gives way to a more mature, architectural Owens language built on restraint, verticality and controlled exposure.
