Faun SS 2015 womenswear brings lyricism into Owens’s architectural system through dance and costume history. Tulle, crimped textures and embroidery form brutal tutus, smocks and parachute-like wings, creating softness without giving up rigour. Ballets Russes, Breuer and dance-costume references shape the collection’s balance of movement and engineered volume. The result is a lighter Owens language that still resists prettiness for its own sake: frill, texture and winged construction become structural tools rather than decoration.
