Edfu SS 2023 menswear re-scales Owens’s post-Lido language through Egyptian ceremonial reference and outdoor runway effects. Tulle, ripstop nylon, Dyneema, pirarucu and technical surfaces become caftans, raised shoulders and hard technical outerwear, grounded by flared-upper platform boots. The Palais de Tokyo fountain and fireball staging make heat, height and procession part of the encounter. The Egyptian title-world matters because it is carried through proportion and atmosphere: temple scale, raised shoulders and technical cloth work together rather than merely illustrating a theme.
