About this collection
Kashgaar Bazaar was Sabyasachi’s national runway debut and introduced the house’s early language of raw handlooms, layered bohemian styling and deliberate imperfection. Antique-book props, horn-rimmed glasses and distressed surfaces framed a collection that opposed the polished synthetic glamour dominant in Indian fashion at the time.
