About this collection
ISSUE #0 opened SHINYAKOZUKA’s numbered collection sequence and its current physical-runway chronology. Presented in Tokyo for Spring/Summer 2022, the show moved Kozuka’s drawing-led workwear into a serial narrative format built around enlarged trousers, loose tailoring and garments treated as elements of an unfinished picture.
The current official archive spells the title “SWEAT ROUGH DRAFT”, while contemporaneous sources recorded “SWEET ROUGH DRAFT”. Both forms are retained in the record rather than silently normalised.
