Julie de Libran’s Spring/Summer 2015 debut restored a closer conversation with Sonia Rykiel’s wardrobe after da Conceição’s reduction. Stripes, open knit structures and relaxed Parisian dressing returned as active material, informed by de Libran’s experience directing large womenswear studios and free of literal founder-era replication.
