Presented weeks after Sonia Rykiel’s death, Spring/Summer 2017 closed with models wearing sweaters that collectively spelled “Rykiel Forever”. Julie de Libran used the house’s own medium—intarsia lettering on knitwear—to turn a runway finale into a direct memorial without separating tribute from clothing.
