About this collection
Julie de Libran staged the Spring/Summer 2019 runway on the newly named Allée Sonia Rykiel for the house’s fiftieth anniversary. The street became a Sunday-market setting for fishnet knits, relaxed layers and material choices framed around sustainability, returning fashion presentation to the public geography of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
The show joined municipal commemoration, founder memory and de Libran’s final runway year. Its open-air conditions made the Left Bank setting part of the collection’s structure, not a decorative backdrop.
