For Autumn/Winter 2022, colour works through tao’s early revived language with a denser textile mix than the pale reset of my white. The Tokyo showing places strong fabric combinations and shifting tones inside the compact presentation format that defines recent tao: close viewing, gentle styling and emphasis on surface rather than spectacle. Tartan, knit, layered dress shapes and bright accents keep the mood grounded in cloth. Fabric, not staging, carries the shift. Pattern and touch give the colour work its weight.
