The first tao presentation after tricot’s restart under Tao Kurihara’s name took place at the Comme des Garçons headquarters in Tokyo. For Spring/Summer 2022, my white set the tone through pale fabric, softened volume and a deliberately intimate scale rather than theatrical return. The clothes reconnect with tricot’s textile lineage while making space for a revived authorial identity: quieter, more domestic in atmosphere and centred on touch. The headquarters setting keeps the relaunch close to cloth, not spectacle for viewers.
