About this collection
Fumi Imamura’s floral artworks shape tao Spring/Summer 2026 through image, textile and softness rather than through oversized construction. The Tokyo runway setting remains intimate, allowing the flowers to operate at garment scale: printed or placed as surface, echoed by relaxed shapes and held within Kurihara’s gentle styling. The collaboration extends tao’s recent interest in artist imagery, but the clothes avoid becoming flat canvases. Floral artwork becomes part of the line’s fabric language, adding freshness, colour and a lightly hand-made feeling to the season.
