Autumn/Winter 2024 returned Thom Browne to New York on Valentine’s Day with a collection structured around Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven. Black birds, distressed tailoring, school codes and elongated silhouettes shifted the house away from its usual grey brightness without abandoning uniform and repetition. The literary frame gave the runway a sombre rhythm while the clothes moved between mourning, ceremony and theatrical menace.
