Spring/Summer 2011 placed Thom Browne’s shrunken tailoring inside a retro-futurist space programme. Models arrived in uniform white suits and visored helmets before revealing cropped blazers, shorts and carefully regulated layers. The collection used science-fiction imagery to make the familiar American suit feel ceremonial and strange while preserving the strict proportions that anchored the early house.
