Thom Browne

Spring/Summer 2011 placed Thom Browne’s shrunken tailoring inside a retro-futurist space programme. Models arrived in uniform white suits and visored helmets before revealing cropped blazers, shorts and carefully regulated layers. The collection used science-fiction imagery to make the familiar American suit feel ceremonial and strange while preserving the strict proportions that anchored the early house. Roseberry later recalled that Browne placed him among the dressers visible in the presentation, a rare collection-specific record of his studio role during the house’s expansion.
