About this collection
Smoke and Mirrors was presented at iD Dunedin Fashion Week in February 2008 while Easting and Stewart were still showing publicly as Love Lies Bleeding. The co-ed collection combined unusual fabric pairings with 1990s references across men’s and women’s looks, capturing the sharper early vocabulary that preceded the wider adoption of the twenty-seven names name later that year.
