Vetements opened Paris couture week with a coed ready-to-wear runway inside Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. Demna and the design team built the collection through eighteen external production collaborations, sending Vetements designs into the materials, factories and specialist knowledge of companies including Alpha Industries, Brioni, Canada Goose, Carhartt, Champion, Levi’s, Manolo Blahnik and Reebok.

The result treated collaboration as a manufacturing system across an entire seasonal wardrobe. Oversized bombers, reconstructed denim, extreme footwear, tailoring, workwear and branded basics retained the technical identity of their partner categories while carrying Vetements’ altered proportions and construction, making industrial authorship itself part of the collection’s design language.
