Vetements presented Spring/Summer 2020 inside the McDonald’s on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, placing a luxury-fashion audience inside one of the world’s most recognisable mass-market interiors. Corporate, security, managerial and tourist archetypes moved through the restaurant in altered uniforms, repurposed denim and distorted logos.

The collection extended Demna’s long interest in everyday institutions, commercial signs and social uniforms while pushing the house’s anti-capitalist imagery into an overtly corporate setting. It became the final Vetements collection presented under his creative leadership before his departure on 16 September 2019.
