Presented at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, First Couture shifted Viktor&Rolf from static and object-based gallery work towards clothing staged on the body. Dotted surfaces, emphatic collars and controlled volume formed a couture proposition before the house gained official calendar recognition.
