About this collection
Sexercise Autumn/Winter 2016–17 was presented in Paris on 5 March 2016 as the first collection under the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood name. The change placed Kronthaler’s name on a line he had helped design for decades, and Westwood publicly credited his authorship around the debut.
The runway made an established creative practice explicit in the line title. Kronthaler became the principal named designer of AKVW while Westwood remained active across the wider house.
