About this collection
Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2023 was presented in Paris on 1 October 2022, the final AKVW runway staged during Vivienne Westwood’s lifetime. Kronthaler remained the principal collection author, extending his personal treatment of historical dress, body proportion and theatrical styling inside the house’s Paris line.
The show later became a clear boundary in the house’s history because no subsequent AKVW collection was presented during Westwood’s lifetime. It closes the lifetime AKVW runway sequence and retains Kronthaler as the principal credited designer.
