About this collection
Vivienne Westwood Autumn/Winter 2017–18 was shown in London on 9 January 2017 as the first globally unified mainline runway after Red Label and Vivienne Westwood Man were consolidated. Womenswear and menswear appeared together under the Vivienne Westwood name, while AKVW continued separately on the Paris calendar.
The show made the 2016 portfolio simplification visible in public presentation. It closed the previous global separation of Red Label and Man and established a single co-ed mainline, while the Japan-specific licensed lines continued in their regional form.
