About this collection
Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2025 was presented in Shanghai on 18 October 2024, closing Shanghai Fashion Week and returning the global mainline to a physical runway for the first time since 2019. The mixed-gender collection kept the mainline distinct from the separately named AKVW Paris stream.
The event made the post-founder house visible through a runway authored by the Vivienne Westwood design team under Andreas Kronthaler’s current creative direction. It also demonstrated that the mainline’s return to a live catwalk did not revive the old global Red Label or Vivienne Westwood Man divisions.
