About this collection
The first formal Y-3 collection separated the adidas partnership from earlier sports footwear inside Yamamoto’s mainline. Mixed men’s and women’s looks used restrained separates, loose tailoring and the three stripes as constructional rhythm, joining athletic lineage to clothing that did not require an athletic body.
