About this collection
Beyond Couture was the first monographic museum exhibition devoted to YUIMA NAKAZATO. More than fifty looks selected from the house’s Paris couture history were presented with process material at the Cité de la dentelle et de la mode. The exhibition documented how modular systems, biomaterials, stage costume and handcraft developed across the archive and placed the label within a public history of contemporary couture.
