About this collection
Blue was made through drawing, clay work, torn textiles, weaving and hand dyeing as Nakazato responded to a period of global conflict and digital saturation. Damaged, overproduced and unused materials became the basis of the collection. The colour blue moved from the city sky to an image of the whole planet, holding crisis and the possibility of distance in the same field.
