About this collection
EVOKE marked YUIMA NAKAZATO’s tenth couture collection. A physical presentation at Osanbashi Pier in Yokohama was paired with digital release through the Paris calendar. Whale-song frequencies informed Biosmocking patterns, Brewed Protein™ entered Nishijin-ori textiles, and repaired or upcycled materials reduced the use of virgin resources. Ryuichi Sakamoto contributed water-related music and Robbie Spencer styled the collection.
