About this collection

FADE opened a new narrative-led phase for the house. Research in Egypt’s White Desert brought together geological erosion, climate change, memory and the Japanese myth of Namazu, the giant catfish believed to cause earthquakes. The title referred to weathering and gradual disappearance, while the collection imagined the desert as a possible future form of Tokyo.
