About this collection
Nakazato designed costumes for Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s production of Mozart’s Idomeneo at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, with stage design by Chiharu Shiota. Red rope, armour and the human consequences of war shaped the production’s visual system. The work fed directly into UTAKATA and UNVEIL, making the opera a structural part of the house’s couture chronology.
